AACAI acknowledge and value the rights and interests of all First Nations Peoples across Australia in the protection and management of their cultural heritage. First Nations Peoples should always be involved in decision-making concerning their cultural heritage, and they should be provided the opportunity and means to engage in any archaeological fieldwork and be paid for their work. We acknowledge their Elders past, present and emerging, and support the concepts of voice, treaty, and truth in the Uluru Statement from the Heart
