The talk will present different methods and approaches that are used in undertaking the analysis and interpretation of Australian artefact assemblages made of stone, bone, glass and shells from three perspectives:
the archaeologist who discovers
the tool itself which undergoes post-depositional processes and
the people who made and used the tool
