Consulting Experience

Alistair is a qualified archaeologist with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours - Archaeology) from the University of Sydney and La Trobe University. He has experience working in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia on Indigenous and historical heritage consulting and research projects.

Alistair has specialised experience in Australian Indigenous stone artefact identification and analysis. He has a high level of competency with GIS equipment and has authored and co-authored a range of heritage reports including Cultural Heritage Management Plans, Due Diligence Reports, and Cultural Heritage Assessment Reports. Alistair has been responsible for the planning (methodology) and execution of survey and subsurface testing for a variety of projects.

Alistair has a strong understanding of state based legislative requirements for cultural heritage approval processes. He has worked with a range of companies across the power, water and road sectors and has strong communication skills that ensure effective client and Aboriginal party liaison.
