Chris is a cultural heritage professional with over 10 years’ experience. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Archaeology, Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Anthropology and Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the University of Queensland.
Chris has a demonstrated history working in Aboriginal and European cultural heritage management for multinational corporate and private consultancy employers. He has worked in various jurisdictions with numerous Aboriginal stakeholder groups representing and advising multinational corporations and various private and public sector clients. His project experience ranges from small-scale housing developments to medium-scale linear infrastructure to large-scale state significant mining projects.
Chris is skilled in: Aboriginal and historic cultural heritage assessments; archaeological survey and excavation; archaeological, ethnohistoric and historic research; archival recording; report writing; agreement making; project management; contractor management; stakeholder consultation and document editing. He has background as a research and teaching professional at the University of Queensland and the University of Southern Queensland.
