Ryan is an Melbourne-based archaeologist and heritage advisor under the Minister's guidelines under Section 189(1) of the Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006. He has experience as a consultant archaeologist and cultural heritage specialist working in and with Aboriginal communities in Victoria, SA, NSW and NT.

Consulting Experience
After returning to Melbourne from interstate, Ryan has undertaken and assisted in the writing and submission of CHMPs (desktop, standard and complex), letters of advice, other forms of historical and Aboriginal cultural heritage-based reports, interpretative signage and site monitoring. He is experienced in supervising fieldwork and in undertaking both research and artefact analysis for historical and Aboriginal archaeological projects.
