Adrienne Ellis is the Director and Senior Archaeologist at Matrix Archaeological Services.

With over 20 years of experience in both Aboriginal and historical cultural heritage management, Adrienne is recognised as an expert in the analysis and interpretation of historical remains. Heritage Victoria has engaged her services on numerous occasions, for the co-ordination of public exhibitions, as Acting Senior Archaeologist and for the development of best practice guidelines.

Recent key projects include: Cultural Heritage Management Plans (CHMPs); 279-291 La Trobe Street, Melbourne; Eureka Heritage Precinct, Ballarat; 206-216 A'Beckett Street, Melbourne; 19-37 A'Beckett Street, Melbourne; Carlton Gardens; and the Yorktown settlement site in northern Tasmania.
