I have worked in consulting since 2001 in both historical and Aboriginal archaeology. I have experience in NSW state government, private firms and as an independent sub-consultant. I have written historical and Aboriginal archaeological assessments for large and small scale study areas; preliminary assessments/due diligence assessments; archaeological research designs and excavation reports. I can undertake surveys in both historical and Aboriginal archaeology without supervision; historical research including NSW Land title records, SRNSW, National Archives and State agency archives. I can digitize excavation drawings, GIS programs and drawing programs. I am a stone artefact analyst with experience on a rangd of collections and consulting with First Nations peoples. I have directed large field surveys and excavations for Aboriginal archaeology and been secondary ED for historical archaeological testing (locally significant remains). I record context or by spit. I undertake ongoing professional development to remain current in the profession and am a member of the National trust Industrial heritage committee in NSW.
