Consulting Experience
Louise Steding has some 30 years experience, in forensic, osteo and historical archaeology. Her doctorate examined imprisonment, combining criminology and historical archaeology. She has worked as an archaeologist for many years in Australia and in Germany directing excavations on Colonial sites, Neolithic-Baroque sites and at various burial grounds and clandestine graves. Her interest in human remains, cemeteries, prison and military sites continues in her consultancy work. Complimenting this, Louise is an Associate Professor teaching forensics and criminology at Swinburne Online (Swinburne University of Technology). She also carries out research and advises on historic and recent criminal cases.
