Consulting Experience
I have worked as an archaeologist for Archae-aus Pty Ltd since 2007, with a brief term working as both an independent consultant and as Director of Earth Imprints Consulting in late 2010 and early 2011 respectively. In the role of Senior Archaeologist since 2009, I have managed numerous Indigenous Archaeological surveys, primarily in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. For the past two years, I have been based in Perth as one of Archae-aus's primary report writers and am responsible for coordinating, writing and editing detailed reports.
I have a close collaborative relationship with the Gabbie Kylie Foundation and Applied Archaeology and have been kindly invited to attend their field schools as a volunteer since 2011.
Current Projects
- A 2D animation project that aims to tell the story of a highly significant site in the Chichester Range, Pilbara - a rock shelter dated to the Pleistocene. The animation will be created in collaboration with Archae-aus colleagues and the Nyiyaparli Traditional Owners as part of the wider Cultural Mapping research project sponsored by Fortescue Metals Group.
